It was an unexpected entry into painting and creating art. I have had a sustained interest since
childhood, but it was only after marriage and having a child that I really invested myself in my
art. I had left my job, but there was an urge, a desire, to build something which would fulfill me
as a person. I wanted something for myself, which allowed me to be more than just a mother and a
wife.
It is over years of experimenting and learning that I have realised: My heart is in art.
Creating art is a freeing, liberating experience. It holds no boundaries or limitations, no rights
or wrongs. You can let your imagination flow and take shape into anything you want. This is what
makes me wake up at 4 am to work on a painting, pushes me to learn more, and then guides me to
discover and create new styles. It is, for me, both work and rest, a drive and a solace all at once.
Everything I have done for over two decades has found a home in this website. It is a mark I leave
with the world: it has my work, my ideas, my spirit. This website is a compilation of all my hard
work and effort throughout the years, reminding me as I delve into each piece of art:
